Vanguard Parents & Friends of our school are invited to the Vanguard Board of Trustees sponsored event of Burritos & Bingo. Prospective families are the school’s guest.  Be sure to call/turn in your reservation to the office.

Fun for 21 & Older in Jaworski Commons ($35 per adult/$50 per couple)
6:30-7:30  Social hour and a burrito dinner.
7:30-9:30 Old fashioned bingo, cash prizes, cool raffle items and more!

Fun for Ages 5-12 in the Vanguard Gym ($10 per child)
6:30-7:30 Pizza and other goodies with Vanguard Student Council
7:30-9:30 Face painting, basketball, pinatas and more!

Jonathan Dallas and Hannah Howard, this year’s National Merit Semifinalists from Vanguard, are among a select pool of about 16,000 students out of more than 1.5 million entrants to the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program who are now being considered for Finalist recognition and Merit Scholarship awards. On Thursday, December 1st the Vanguard debate team took part in the first-ever Capital Congress held at the Capitol Building in Austin, Texas. 150 high school debaters were organized into six congressional chambers, debating legislation proposed by various schools. Read More…
