8th Graders Flying High!
Vanguard’s Eighth Grade Physical Science class enjoyed launching 2-liter bottle rockets as a way to reinforce Newton’s Laws of Motion. The students designed their own rockets with a particular purpose in mind. The rockets were filled with water and compressed air and then launched to see what they would do. There were some outstanding high flyers, and spinners! The students were very creative with their designs and had fun participating in the activity.
