Caritas Food Drive
Each year the Student Council of Vanguard sponsors the Canned Food drive for Caritas. The Student Council begins the year with the Back to School dance, and all of the proceeds go toward the purchasing of cans for this drive. Our money also supports a young boy in a Third World country. We have monthly baked goods sale to increase our treasury so that we can buy more cans. This year we have close to $900 dollars for these two causes.
