Vanguard Takes 1st Place In District Academics
Vanguard College Preparatory School won the title of Academic Champion in the February 22 district competition of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools. Carrollton Christian Academy was district runner up, and Tyler All Saints School came in third. Academic ranking was determined by compiled scores in core academic subjects as well as public speaking events. Vanguard placed third in district art. The state academic and art meets will take place at Concordia University in Austin on April 4 and 5.
