Vanguard's Norbert Wiener Day Competition 2007
On Tuesday, November 20, 2007 we celebrated the 113th anniversary of the birth of Norbert Wiener with a renewal of our formerly annual Mathematician's Day. Each student who wished to participate created a mousetrap car that works on the principle of converting potential energy to kinetic energy. The mousetrap cars are tested on speed, distance, and creativity. Congratulations to contest winners Lincoln Downs and Amy Daughters, and to all the participants of Norbert Weiner Day.
